Why Database Marketing Is Critical To Revenue Growth

The biggest problem entrepreneurs and marketers have with marketing to their database is:

You “don’t know WHAT to send them,” right?

The second problem is you “don’t know WHAT to send them something.”

When you don’t know what to send, you do nothing.

When you do nothing, you lose the RELATIONSHIP you built.

When you lose the RELATIONSHIP, they won’t refer people to you or do business with you again.

When that happens you lose MONEY.

You already know that it’s five to 25 times more expensive to acquire a new customer, so it’s time to get your database marketing strategy figured out.

It’s easy today using modern day marketing strategies.

I’m not talking about sending them endless emails about buying from you again or sending you referrals.

That’s not marketing.

That will only piss off your existing customers.

The way to overcome the hurdle of “WHAT to send,” is think about “being a resource.”

Never forget that your customers are human beings.

When they bought from you.

They paid with their TIME, their ATTENTION and their WALLET.

Whether it was $1 or $50,000, it took a leap of faith to part with those 16 digits.

Honor that trust and confidence they placed in you, your product or service and DEEPEN the relationship.

  • What is the next thing they’ll need? Help them find it.
  • What will they need in their life or business in 6-12 months? Put them in touch with someone who can help.
  • What pitfalls won’t they see coming? Plant the seed today.

There is no shortage of ways to market effectively to your database.

Each time you do this, you are TOP OF MIND.

When you are top of mind, you become a FRIEND.

People always remember what their friends did for them.

The reason you can’t figure out what to say/send or when to send it is because you’re only thinking about what’s in it for you (WIIFU).

Once you shift that thought process to focus on what’s in it for them, you’ll be amazed at your path to growth.
